Additional Two Weeks Of Remand For Murder Suspect By Rol Ezam and Malai FadleyRizal
Bandar Seri Begawan - A 46-year-old Malaysian man (LIEW SAY KOO ) who allegedly killed a woman, said to be his wife, at a hotel room in Berakas several weeks ago was ordered to be remanded for another two weeks by the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday for further investigation to be conducted.
The defendant, Liew Say Koo, who was first produced in court on July 13, still faces the charge of killing his 26year-old Malaysian wife sometime in the evening of July 12 at a room in Orchid Garden Hotel.
The defendant will appear before the same court again on August 10 at 9.30am. If convicted, the defendant faces the death penalty. Deputy Public Prosecutor Dyg Suhana binti Haji Sudin prosecuted the case. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
